Engaging Diaspora Professionals (EDP), under the domain name "https://diasporaprofessionals.germin.org" has been created to better inform the diaspora professionals of opportunities to contribute in Kosovo, and increase their cooperation with Kosovo institutions/businesses/organizations. The program Engaging Diaspora Professionals (EDP) seeks to bring the diaspora experts in their homeland to contribute toward their homeland's development with their expertise and experiences in developed countries. The database of GERMIN coincides with more than 30K professionals worldwide. Therefore, based on this "wealth of information and database", GERMIN is implementing the EDP program in Kosovo and Albania. The program brings professionals for a period starting from three weeks to six months with the idea of joining institutions/organizations regarding their needs.

For many years as a non-governmental organization, GERMIN has used technology and virtual channels to connect and engage the diaspora in advancing the development and democratization of their home countries. It started in 2011 as an informal group trying to find its way to connect with the homeland and was formally founded in 2014. GERMIN is run and supported by a group of diaspora professionals ranging from public policy, finance, information, technology, law, education, security, and diplomacy. It has a wide network of professionals and part-time collaborators residing in 24 countries, including the Balkans, Western Europe, and North America.

Our application does not have tools for comments and/or applications similar to discussion platforms. Therefore, we currently do not allow comments.
